What We Provide:

1. Thorough Documentation Management: We meticulously review, verify accuracy, supplement with necessary documentation, and securely attach relevant x-rays to all procedures and claims.
2. Efficient Claim Submission: We handle the entire claim submission process and promptly respond to any requests for additional information from insurance carriers, ensuring swift processing.
3. Expert Denial Management: In the event of denied claims or procedures, we take proactive steps to address and rectify the situation, advocating for your practice to maximize reimbursement.
4. Payment Handling and Reconciliation:  We meticulously reviews and posts all payments received from insurance carriers, promptly addressing any discrepancies and rebilling as necessary.
5. Clear Communication and Follow-Up: We keep your practice informed every step of the way, notifying you when insurance payments are completed and ensuring patient accounts receive timely statements. Plus, we can handle statement distribution if you prefer.

What We Require From Your Office:

1. Current Software Compatibility: Utilize the current or recent version of Open Dental to seamlessly integrate our billing services.
2. Subscription to Consulting Lite: Maintain an active subscription to our Consulting Lite package ($395 per month), ensuring access to our expertise and support.
3. Remote Access for Collaboration: Provide 24/7 remote access to one of your office computers via Splashtop, facilitating efficient collaboration and data exchange.
4. Access to Radiology Software: Grant us access to your radiology software for seamless integration of imaging data into claims and documentation.
5. Accurate Patient Information Management: Maintain current and accurate patient information within Open Dental and any submitted forms, ensuring smooth billing processes.
6. Daily Insurance Correspondence: Prepare and submit a daily PDF document containing all insurance correspondence, including checks, Explanation of Benefits (EOBs), denials, and any other relevant information.
7. Strongly Recommended: ERA Functionality: While not mandatory, we highly recommend implementing the Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) function through DentalxChange. This streamlines the billing process, reduces errors, and ultimately lowers costs, benefiting your practice. We’re here to assist you in setting it up for maximum efficiency.

Cost:

$395 per month for our Consulting Lite plus $29 per hour for time worked for your office.  The $395 is billed monthly and the hourly charges are billed approximately every 2 weeks. These are all the charges; we cover the employee costs such as taxes, social security, etc. As with all our services, there are no setup fees or contracts. You can cancel at any time.

Note: offices using the ERA feature in Open Dental save a substantial amount on our hourly charges compared to offices not yet using the ERAs. We can help set this up as part of our services. You do not have to use Electronic Fund Transfers (EFTs) to use ERAs; ERAs also work with checks mailed to your office.
